Shiv was fired from his job after 35 years because he refused to sign off on approval of rBGH without testing for safety. rBGH is a synthetic, genetically engineered hormone that is injected into cows so that they produce more milk.
The topic at hand is the pending bill in the US Senate S-510 The Food Safety Modernization Act, which is due to be voted on this week or next. This bill, if passed, will mean death to small farmers, organic & truganic farmers, biodynamic and sustainable farmers, local food production systems, farmer’s markets, and its tentacles even extend into home gardens and orchards.
